Maya Penzlik is a painter, Illustrator and art educator based in Montreal, Canada. Vibrant, whimsical and happy are perfect words to describe her style. Maya grew up in Minsk, Belarus and her art nickname “Penzlik” means a brush in Belarusian. Maya studied architecture but later changed her degree to Fine Arts. She enjoys working with younger kids and is happy to create educational books for them. In her free time she either paints or plays with her 5 years old daughter Eva.
